Original Character - The Witch's Toll

The villagers fear her greatly but none will argue with the boons she brings. Good rain, full harvests, and nary a brigand in sight. What peasant wouldn’t be thankful that a benevolent witch settled nearby? Her method of receiving “payment” may be heretical but no one will confess.
